Which is your favorite James Gandolfini movie role? - Results

The world of cinema was shocked when The Sopranos actor James Gandolfini died on june 19 of 2013. As a homage we featured a poll remembering many of his movie roles and asking which of them is your favorite. The results were:

as Virgil in True Romance (1993) - 6 votes, 30%
Other - 4 votes, 20%
as Carol in Where The Wild Things Are (2009) - 2 votes, 10%
as Winston Baldry in The Mexican (2001) - 2 votes, 10%
as Tiny Duffy in All The King's Men (2006) - 1 vote, 5%
as Eddie Poole in 8mm (1999) - 1 vote, 5%
as Al Love in A Civil Action (1998) - 1 vote, 5%
as Lt. Bobby Dougherty in Crimson Tide (1995) - 1 vote, 5%
as Big Dave Brewster in The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) - 1 vote, 5%
as Douglas Lloyd Riley in Welcome to the Rileys (2010) - 1 vote, 5%

The other options which collected no votes were: as the C.I.A. Director in Zero Dark Thirty (2012), as Mickey in Killing Them Softly (2012), as the Mayor in The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009), as Lt. Gen. George Miller in In The Loop (2009) and as Joey Allegretto in Night Falls on Manhattan (1996).

Before his untimely death Gandolfini had time to work in a couple of movies that are expected to be released either this year or the next, and of course he also made some great work in televisión including his iconic role as Tony Soprano.
