Who is your favorite Star Trek captain? - Results

Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) from Next Generation - 63 votes, 40.91%
None of these can top the original Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) - 44 votes, 28.57%
I'll pick young Kirk (Chris Pine) from Star Trek (2009) & Into Darkness (2013) - 19 votes, 12.34%
Captain Sisko (Avery Brooks) from Deep Space Nine - 17 votes, 11.04%

Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) from Enterprise - 1 vote, 0.65%
Captain Christopher Pike (Bruce Greenwood) from Star Trek (2009) - 1 vote, 0.65%

Despite the vote record and his status as the first captain from this loved series Captain Christopher Pike (Jeffrey Hunter) the original Captain from the pilot episode of 1966 got 0 votes.

Two aditional facts, if you add the votes of the classic Kirk and the young Kirk, then he and Jean-Luc Picard would have tied on the first place.

This poll managed to collect over 1% of the votes given to the last IMDb homepage poll, not bad considering our limited ways of promotion, remember to support the return of the IMDb daily poll at the links on the right side of this page, and to send your suggestions for future polls.
